Aurora Borealis in Southern Utah? June 1, 2025

A rare and awe-inspiring glimpse of the Aurora Borealis — seen from as far south as Southern Utah, near Zion National Park. Normally only visible near the Arctic Circle, this phenomenon is caused by solar storms interacting with Earth’s magnetic field. Seeing the Northern Lights this far south is exceptionally rare — and an unforgettable reminder of the beauty above us.
