Closer is better: Try to get as close as possible to the subjects underwater (without disturbing them) as they will appear much more colorful and clearer, especially when using video lights like SeaLife Sea Dragon. The closer you are to subjects (especially the smaller ones) the easier the framing will be to shoot.
