Suddenly a police state? Johnson's plans are causing great concern

Imagine if your head of government had been proven to have lied to the population on numerous occasions. Not with casually mumbled half-truths, as one occasionally hears them on talk shows, but with outright lies. Also, imagine if this man repeatedly violated the strict corona rules that he himself imposed on all citizens. During two lockdowns with a strict ban on meetings, he would have enjoyed himself with buddies over wine and cheese, drinks and cake. Sometimes in his official residence, sometimes in his office. Several times in a small circle, but also sometimes with 30, 50, 100 guests. He would have let it rip while at the same time admonishing the citizens to renounce all socializing. A new fridge would have been delivered to him through the back door so he could stock enough beer and white wine for his lockdown parties. Another time his people would have smuggled alcohol into the office in a suitcase.
