New MFB Breathing Apparatus Vehicle

This project commenced in 2009 and involved a significant investment in the design phase to ensure that the layout of new appliances was exactly what the Operational crews required. The MFB also sought expert opinion from an Ergonomist to assist us with minimising the potential for injury associated with storing and access to equipment.

We are now in the final stages of preparing these appliances for commissioning with our operational crews undertaking training at the Burnley Complex.

The Health and Safety Dept have put forward our new appliances for consideration for an award from WorkSafe for "The best solution to a Health and Safety Issue".
