Jakarta's 25 cent Transportation: Transjakarta will co-exist well with the new MRT train lines

In this video, I want to use the card that I was required to buy at the Monas for a swipe on the Transjakarta. Luckily, it all worked great. The cost for any ride on the TransJakarta BRT is only 3,500 Rupiah -- 25 cents. I boarded at the Harmoni station and had an easy ride in Jakarta's famous traffic. The buses are clean, comfortable, safe, and friendly. I never see a tourist on these buses, but I would totally recommend trying it as a chance to experience local life with the working people of Jakarta.

I believe that the Transjakarta was very well thought out, and works very very well in this city. I believe it will co-exist well with all the new MRT Subway and skytrain stations planned.

In this travel vlog, I took the Transjakarta BRT (bus rapid transit) to get to Grand Indonesia for the first day day open to the public of the first MRT in Jakarta.

This was an exciting day for Indonesia. I am proud of it, along with the rest of the Indonesian people.
