We're back at the Cincinnati Zoo, one of the oldest zoological parks in America, and as you'd might expect it's filled with history at every corner. Most locals know of their national landmarks, but there's one other underappreciated exhibit that's stood the test of time. The Eagle Eyrie is one giant aviary settled on a steep canyon. It opened in 1970 as the largest flight cage in the United States, and has been practically untouched and aged beautifully over the years. The history behind this exhibit is a bonus but the real attractions are what's inside. The Eyrie let's you enter and view the territory of Steller's Sea Eagles, and Andean Condors, some of the largest flying birds on the planet.
