Bruce’s Grandpa’s Coca-Cola Ribs with Brussels Caesar Salad | Travis London

Bruce’s Grandpa’s Coca-Cola Ribs

Ingredients
4 lbs bone-in pork ribs
3 cups Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper, divided
3 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar, packed
6 tablespoons chili powder
4 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Marinate
Place ribs in a large dish and pour 2 cups soda over them.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.

2. Make the sauce
Blend together:
Remaining 1 cup soda
Ketchup
Brown sugar
Chili powder
Black pepper
Dry mustard
Cinnamon

3. Roast low & slow
Preheat oven to 225°F.
Remove ribs from marinade (discard liquid).
Place in a roasting pan, brush with sauce, and cover tightly.
Roast for 2½ hours, until very tender (about 200°F internal).

4. Grill finish
Grill over medium-high heat for 10–15 minutes, basting with sauce, until sticky and caramelized.

5. Thicken sauce
Simmer remaining sauce on the stove for 15 minutes until thickened.
🥬 Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad

Ingredients
2 lbs Brussels sprouts, shredded
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
Juice of ½ lemon
¾ cup grated Parmesan, divided
1½ cups fresh breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, pressed

Directions

1. Roast
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread evenly and roast 10–12 minutes, until lightly crisp.

2. Breadcrumbs
Melt butter in a pan.
Add garlic (30 seconds), then breadcrumbs.
Cook until golden and crisp.

3. Toss
Toss Brussels sprouts with:
Caesar dressing
Lemon juice
Add ¼ cup Parmesan and mix.

4. Finish
Top with:
Crispy breadcrumbs
Remaining Parmesan
