Ja Morant | FEARLESS (2020 ROTY Highlights)

What's up, felt like pouring some creative energy into another video project seeing as Stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne has given me a lot of time on my hands. I made a previous basketball highlight video of Derrick Rose and I wanted to expand on what I'd done there with more of a storyline and try experimenting with a few things. Overall, I'm fairly happy with how it turned out although I feel it's a little clunky navigating the story with the injury and the underdog background and all that. However, I'm ok with that result seeing as its not easy to make a cohesive story with the limited amount of visual and auditory media that was available from YouTube. I thought the monologues, game sound and other SFX that I added in worked well for the most part. I wasn't entirely happy with the transitions; I think they helped make the overall product smoother but sometimes felt out of place. To be honest, at this point I'm very low on motivation to make further changes or innovations and I wanted to catch the window after the official ROTY announcement where this is more topical. I'm not really thinking about any future video plans, I'm probably going to try to focus on other things before maybe turning my attention to another project if I get bored enough but no concrete ideas as of yet. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and any feedback is much appreciated.
