That’s right, those legendary warriors are taking on a style of beer famed for its complexity and strength. But they didn't stop there. Inspired by a mysterious and uniquely spiced beverage from a faraway land—one with the flavors of cherry and anise—they decided to create a brew unlike any other.

The path to a name for this concoction was fraught with peril, or at least the threat of legal battles. They considered names that were just a little too close to the source of their inspiration, but in the end, they found their answer in the heavens. They looked to the mighty gods of Asgard and named their creation after the one who commands the sky itself: Thunor, the god of thunder and lightning, better known to most as Thor.
