Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement. —
(1) This Act may be called the Federal Investigation Agency Act, 1974.
(2) It extends to the whole of Pakistan and also applies to all citizens of Pakistan and public servants, wherever they may be.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
2. Definitions. — In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or
context, —
(a) “Agency” means the Federal Investigation Agency constituted under section
