I'm BLACK and I live in Spain| My experience
I'm a black girl living in Spain and this is my experience. Hey there! if you're new here then you probably don't know that I've been living in Valencia Spain for 2 years now. I'm sure you've clicked on this video because you are interested in finding out about what's it's like being black and living in Spain. It's horrible how people of my color and myself have to think about how the color of our skin affects our lives, but today I wanted to share how being black and in Spain is going for me.
I love it here! Truly the people are so nice, and while I can't speak for everyone, I do not feel as if I am being looked at more for the color of my skin. Most people here mind their business. There have been a few occasions where I may get a couple stares, especially from the security guards at the supermarkets, but I try to not let that faze me. Truly I walk around as if I own the place sometimes😂 I am very comfortable here and not fazed at all that I am a black girl all alone in Spain. Plus there are many black people here in Spain, Valencia specifically is full of international people which I absolutely love, and speaking from assumptions I'm sure that Madrid and Barcelona are very international as well.
I've had complete strangers dm me and asked me about life as a black girl in Spain, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below or dm me on my instagram: chelcyexavier.
