About the Guest: Aditi Sahasrabuddhe is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Brown. She specializes in international political economy with a focus on geopolitics and global governance, the politics of international finance, central banking, and economic history. Her book, Bankers’ Trust: How Social Relations Avert Global Financial Collapse (published by Cornell University Press, in 25), draws attention to a crucial element behind the resolution of global financial crises, i.e., trust between central bank leaders.
Her other work is published or forthcoming in numerous academic journals, the Financial Times, and other policy and news outlets. Prior to joining Brown, she was an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Wellesley College. She received her PhD in Government from Cornell and was a Global Political Economy Project Pre-doctoral Fellow at the Mortara Centre for International Studies, at Georgetown.
