SIMPLE HIGH BUN TUTORIAL on THICK NATURAL HAIR! | MEDIUM LENGTH | THE CURLY CLOSET

Hey Curlies! This video is a follow up to my recent video on
9 BACK TO SCHOOL BUN HAIRSTYLES 2017 for MEDIUM LENGTH NATURAL HAIR

This is a more in depth tutorial on the high bun style that I showed in that video. I did this style on stretched hair. The basic steps are:

1) Put hair up in the direction that you want your bun to be. Smooth hairline with gel and boar bristle brush. (Optional: cover with a scarf to set in place).
2) Use hair band (old stocking) to smooth hair upwards and into position.
3) Create loose braid at the top, and tuck the ends under, creating a bun shape.
