Ramadan Freezer Prep- 3 fruit sharbat recipes- dahi baray recipe and so much more!
Asalam o alaikum,
Ramadan kareem to all.
In this video I have made
1. Frozen Ginger paste cubes
2. Frozen Garlic paste cubes
3. Frozen Imli Sauce Base
4. Frozen Lemon cubes
5. Frozen Apple sauce cubes
6. Dahi Baray (without baisan)
7. Mix fruit Sharbat
8. Grapes Sharbat
9. Anaar (Pomegranate) sharbat
Dahi baray Recipe (without Baisan)

Ingredients:
• Mong ki daal chilkay wali (Split Green gram) ½ cup
• Maash ki daal (Black gram) ½ cup
• Ginger paste ½ Tsp
• Green chili 1-2
• Salt 1/2 tsp
• Baking soda (meetha soda) ½ Tsp
preparation:
1. Soak the lentils overnight.
2. Blend them the next morning with ginger paste and green chili along with the least amount of water possible.
3. Add salt, baking soda and mix well with a hand mixer or whisk until light in color and fluffy.
4. Fry dollops of the mixture over a medium flame.
5. Change sides to get an equal brown color on both sides.
6. Pour yogurt in a bowl. Add the Vaday. Sprinkle cumin powder, chat masala, mint chutney and imli chutney, mint and salt. Enjoy!
Freezing Instructions:
• Put in a zip lock bag and seal it properly, making it air tight.
• Put in the freezer.
• You can freeze them for up to a month.
• When you want to make dahi bara, just take them out from the freezer, do not defrost and just put them in room temperature water for 5 minutes.
• Enjoy!
FRUIT SHARBAT RECIPE
I have made 3 Kinds of Sherbats
MIX FRUIT SHARBAT
• Oranges 4
• Pears 4
• Mangoes 4
GRAPES AND BERRY SHARBAT
• Grapes 500 grams
• Kiwi fruit 3-4 (optional)
• Blue berries 250 grams (optional)
ANAAR (POMEGRANATE) SHARBAT
• Anaar 4-5 big size
• Strawberries 1/2 kg
Preparation
1. Wash, peel, deseed and chop the fruits into chunks.
2. Blend into fine paste adding a little water to the blender.
3. Cook the paste on medium flame until thickened.
4. Keep stirring to avoid burning.
5. Turn the flame off once you get custard like consistency.
6. Allow to cool. Add to ziplock bags and freeze for 1 month.
7. To make sherbet, just mix the paste with water and add honey to sweeten it.
8. Enjoy!
