PLEASE. The Confederate flag is NOT represented as "Southern Heritage".
The history of the use of the flag demonstrates is that the heritage it symbolizes is enslavement, inequality, violence and gross injustice. Please please please!! STOP THINKING that the southern states today fly this flag. Confederate states of America are created for a reason: Treason, rebellion and disagreements of congress. They are traitors of the country, racist white supremacist, and do not need to be recognized. Say this to the Mississippi flag, as they tried to remove the emblem for YEARS. I absolutely CANNOT believe I see comments like this to pop up. Do not normalize the flag.
