The Tales of Action JRPG series has been going on for over 2 decades now and has seen numerous giant leaps forward in its production, budget and design philosophies. With every leap we take however some of the series identity gets stripped away or otherwise replaced. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

Tales of Arise is the newest generation of tales of titles and makes changes both for the better and the worst but remains a very solid game over all.
