"The Suicide Squad" is a jam-packed movie of madness, mayhem, and way more obscure DC Comics characters than perhaps any movie that's come before it.

The 2021 movie already has enough action bursting out of the seams of its two-plus hour runtime, but if you can believe it, there's even more material involving this new version of Task Force X that didn't make it into James Gunn's movie.

Turns out, the movie could have had more King Shark action, a darker fate for Ratcatcher 2, and a scene explaining why Amanda Waller hates Rick Flag so much — and it also almost had a showdown with Superman. Here's why you didn't get to see these scenes from "The Suicide Squad."
