Paragliding The Bridger Mountains - Bozeman, Montana

I grew up at the base of Saddle Peak on the West side of the Bridgers just north of Bozeman. So when I started Paragliding in 2016 I knew that one day I would enjoy my home mountain range from above via the magic of thermic free flight. At this point, I have flown over the Bridgers plenty of times...but this Particular day in late August 2023 was special due to the exceptionally light wind and nice high Cloudbase. I decide to toss some out to lunch raw footage of the flight together as a nice memory and to show off some of the potential of flying in Bozeman.

Pro Tip:
One of the biggest lessons I have learned for flying in Montana is, START HIGH! That's why I happily hike 4000 vertical feet with my full XC kit on good days. If you start from the classic lower launches most days you can't start flying until 2-3pm, you lose half the day, and my success rate of climbing out is much lower!
