We took a Grid Rig unit out to United Equipment to charge a pair of battery electric tyre handlers before they ship to FMG's Christmas Creek. These are 16 and 20 tonne machines with 350kWh batteries, sitting at 50% charge.
Grid Rig brought them to full within minutes. No fixed infrastructure. No grid connection. Just mobile energy, deployed where it's needed.
Once charged, these units leave the yard ready to work the moment they arrive at site.
