LA Thieves CRASH & BURN at CDL Major (What Really Happened)

With the LAST online major of 2021 officially concluding, the LA Thieves take a look back at their mistakes in Major III and what they can do to improve going forward to the next in-person LAN majors.

Starting in the winners bracket for the first time since Stage 1, Drazah and Venom’s new achievement was quickly swept away by the Florida Mutineers who gave us an upsetting 1-3 defeat.

Since joining the roster, Huke has had some tough matchups against the New York Subliners and Florida Mutineers, both teams that could have been defeated by the Thieves in the past. Despite this, LA Thieves were given back-to-back losses, which catapulted them into the loser’s bracket where they then had to go on an elimination bracket run to get a chance at their first Major title.

Through this journey to close the online chapter, Kylo Ken and the team reflect on the glimmers of hope that appeared as they continue to grow closer to being a cohesive unit and how they fed off their teammates' energy during past LANs.
