The Truth About Luke Kennard

Luke Kennard for the Pistons has been sort of like getting a new puppy after giving up an aggressive dog. The puppy is brand new, has great reviews, and with love and care will turn into a great family dog. But, after the last dog bit a neighbor, you're a bit scared to let the new puppy wander too far out of its cage.

This is what I feel has happened with the Pistons and Luke Kennard. After a stretch of making several bad draft choices in the past decade (detailed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMxwzufIxbE), the Pistons have been careful with giving minutes to young players, hoping that getting established players to fill roles would bring success.

The Pistons need to let Kennard out of the cage, off the bench and into a permanent starting role where he is a focus of the offense. In this video, we discuss Kennard's play style, with lots of numbers and hypothetical situations, and build some hype around the Pistons' third year guard.
