Would I recommend ophthalmology as a career for a student in college or medical school?

This video is primarily for college students who are premed or medical students. The opinions in the video are mine alone based on my own life experience.

So, this is a question that has both a simple and a very complicated answer…the simple answer is yes. If you have the ability, the time and the will to excel in college academically and then continue to get-after-it in medical school and you then are faced with the choice of what career path to pursue – ophthalmology is great. But as in all things in life, there are pros and cons.
