Surfing is being transformed thanks to a new generation of wave pools, bringing the thrill of surfing to people living hundreds of miles away from the nearest coast. NBC’s Jacob Soboroff visited one of these locations, the Palm Springs Surf Club in California, to test the waters before the official public opening.
