Recorded live in Miami in November 8, 2002 during Cher's 2002-2005 Living Proof: The Farewell Tour, this concert is a celebration of one of the most remarkable and enduring careers in popular music. For 40 years Cher has enthralled, entranced and excited audiences around the world and this farewell concert takes us on a journey through time, re-visiting all the highlights of this unique career.

With spectacular staging, dancers, acrobats and, of course, the most glittering costumes designed by Bob Mackie, this show is truly an unmissable TV extravaganza.

All the hits are here, from her first "All I Really Want to Do" to her latest chart busters "Believe" and "Strong Enough".

The performances are punctuated with exclusive archive footage that tells the story of the rise of a major American icon. Early footage of Sonny and Cher, excerpts from The Cher Show and clips from her Oscar winning film career amongst others add value to the live performances and put in context Cher's unique position in popular entertainment.

At the 55th annual Emmy Awards 2003, this prime-time special was in the race with six nominations in various fields and was ultimately awarded with Emmy for 'Outstanding Variety Special'.

The film, by award winning director David Mallet captures all the excitement and emotion of this once in a lifetime farewell concert.
