How to warmup for kettlebells in 5 minutes or less. This how-to video shows you the exact way I take my members through a full warmup before their 39 Minute Workout.
I realize it took me 10 minutes! But once you get the moves down you’ll blast through it in 5 mins or less. All you need is one light kettlebell.
We’ll focus on the 3 main areas you need to “wake-up.” The Hips-Core-Shoulders.
Exercises you'll perform:
* Cat/Cow
* Bird Dog
* Downward Dog/Hip flexor pump
* Glute bridge with alternative leg raise
* Goblet squat- Preacher curl
* Halo
* 10 light kettlebell swings
Address all your needs and prepare your body for a pain free workout.
Some Kettlebell coaches insist warmups are unnecessary. I say that’s crazy! It’s fine in theory to say you should be fit and mobile enough to be ready to move at any moment.
But in practice, my clients from 35-60 would disagree. A good warmup is like pre-hab. An insurance policy against injury.
