Belgian Waffle Ride Cedar City 2020 Race Documentary (The Untold Story)

Cedar City's Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) 2020 promised to provide unparalleled, teeth-rattling punishment for entrants along a 125-mile course. And it did not disappoint. On the heels of a third-place win at US Gravel National Championship earlier in the month, we shadowed our pro athlete Chris Schroeder on his BWR journey. We set out to document his final race of the season in Cedar City, as he embarked on a 75% off-road terrain ride with 6,000+ feet elevation gain, at an average altitude of 5,800 feet. As you will see, this was not the day he had hoped for. Even with a great start, great preparation and great nutritional support, forces of nature (and anatomy) can change everything at the drop of a granule of dirt.
