Save your body and improve your posture with these essential stretches
Do you have aches, pains, and muscle tightness now that you’re working from home? So many of us have made the transition to working from home due to the COVID-19 quarantine, and a large part of the population will continue to work from home even after businesses reopen. At home, you might be finding it difficult to establish an ergonomic workspace, especially if you live in a small apartment like mine. (See my video on how to create an optimal work station at home.)
One key component to maintaining a healthy, flexible, and pain-free body, is to take frequent stretch breaks – at least once every hour.
Follow along with me as I teach you some gentle but effective stretches designed to target the areas that get tight, achy, or overstressed while sitting at a computer for hours. These stretches will get fresh blood, oxygen, and nutrients to compromised tissues, increase your flexibility, relieve your joints, increase your lung capacity, and help you feel great!
