Garden to Table Sage & Garlic Alfredo (vegan & gf)
GARLIC SAGE ALFREDO
(Gluten free and vegan)
Brown rice noodles (I use Azure Standard in bulk orders)

SAUCE
-3/4 cup Raw cashews (I use organic purchased in bulk, again from Azure Standard)
-1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast (again in bulk from Azure Standard 😂)
-1 teaspoon salt
-Sprig of Rosemary
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-2 tablespoons tapioca starch (optional, adds “cheesy” texture)
-A sprig of fresh rosemary or one teaspoon dried
-3/4 cup water
-1/2 cup plant milk or whatever milk you use
-A sprig of fresh sage or a teaspoon dried sage chopped finely
-2 tablespoons garlic chopped finely
-1 cup or more of fresh spinach chopped roughly
-Drizzle of avocado or olive oil
-Chopped green onion, chives or garlic scapes for topping! (optional, for onion & garlic lovers)
DIRECTIONS
-cook pasta according to directions
-add all ingredients except the sage, chopped garlic, and spinach to a blender and blend until smooth. *if you do not have a high powered blender soak the cashews for a couple of hours first.
-sauté the chopped garlic, sage, and spinach in a little olive oil or avocado oil
-add the cooked brown rice noodles to the pan with the sage, garlic, and spinach
-pour over as much of the sauce as you would like and mix to incorporate
-sprinkle a little nutritional yeast on and some chopped chives and enjoy!!
PS if you don’t like garlic flavor, maybe omit some of the garlic. I’m on team ‘you can never have enough garlic’ 🧄
