WoW! Mining and chronology of Europe

WoW! Mining and chronology of Europe have something common.
Cześć! Alezja and her Signs of the Past here. That's my first short in English (I don't count the silly Khadgar vs Brann one). It's about similarities between WoW's Mining and real chronology of European metal ages. Just curiousity. /shrug

„Cześć Wszystkim!

In World of Warcraft, in Classic Mining tab we have:
- Copper
- Tin
- Bronze
- Steel
- Iron

The thing is, it's pretty accurate about archaeological chronology for (at least) Europe.
In the end of Neolithic first smelted artifacts pop up. There was so many COPPER items in some areas, archaeologists say about Copper Age there.

Then people started using TIN and discovered that smelting it together with Copper gives BRONZE, a new cool metal. And the new age – the Bronze Age.

Now STEEL and IRON. Actually, the first was Iron, giving us the Iron Age. Steel, made from Iron and a bit of COAL became also known and useful, but was less famous.

About Silver and Gold... Well... They look nice and they're cool for some trinkets and ceremonial, demonstration items. But they're weak as the weapons or tools.”
PS. I know that Mithril is also visible on the mining list, but... Nope. :D Not here, not on my watch. ^v^
