Changes to Sask.’s income support program leaving people behind, experts say

Nearly one in five Saskatchewan residents live in poverty, one of the highest rates across Canada, according to a recent University of Regina report. Experts say changes to the province’s income support program last summer meant recipients received less money than before, and their payments haven’t kept up with inflation.
