Banjo Tune a Day Project, day 59 part 1: Oh Shenandoah

As a Sunday contribution, I play this song as a tribute to my parents - my father, who used to sing this song when he was working and when we were hiking together, and my mother, who passed away on Monday from COVID-19. They met at a folk dance camp, and I can imagine him singing the song to her when they were dating and later, during their many post-retirement canoe trips. #SongsofComfort

The Apollo Boat makes its final appearance in this series. It's played with bare fingers this time, because it didn't sound mellow enough with picks for this song.
