Visit of London South Bank University Delegation to TEAM University

On November 2-3, 2022, in Tashkent, on the Campus of the Entrepreneurial University - TEAM University, an important event for the University and the Higher Education System of Uzbekistan took place - a visit of Representatives of one of the top Universities in the UK London South Bank University (abbreviated as LSBU).

The LSBU delegation included: Professor Dave Phoenix (LSBU Vice-Chancellor), Stuart Bannerman (LSBU Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor International) and Aissata Edmondson (Head of Global Partnerships at LSBU).

During the first day, LSBU representatives held a number of fruitful meetings with the leadership, the Board of Trustees and students of TEAM University. Initiatives on the development of new academic programmes between LSBU and TEAM University were discussed. Arrival at the TEAM University Campus began with a tour of the University Campus.

At a meeting with students, LSBU representatives got to know the newly joined freshmen and were able to answer questions of interest to students. Following, representatives of the LSBU and the leadership of TEAM University held a meeting with Tashkenbaev Ulugbek Negmatovich (Head of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education) at the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

On the second and third days of their visit to Uzbekistan, LSBU representatives held meetings at the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on initiatives of further development of relations in the field of higher education. Gala Reception was organized on the second day, special guest of which was His Excellency Mr. Tim Torlot, British Ambassador to Uzbekistan.
