We Went BIKING IN THE WINTER! | Fat Biking in the Snow | Fat Biking for Beginners

Well we did yet another activity we never thought we'd do. We went biking in the winter! One evening we stopped at Costco to get some groceries and stumbled across fat bikes that were for sale for a REALLY good price. So we thought with lockdown and the uncertainty of when we can travel again, why not try something new. We had so much fun getting into biking and bike packing last summer, so biking in the winter could be fun too. Well we're sure glad we decided to try it out. We had SUCH A BLAST fat biking in the snow. It is definitely different biking on snow than on the road, and we fell and got back up a lot of times.

Some of the things we learned from our first ride:
- Groomed trails are way easier to bike than non groomed trails or trails with deeper snow
- Gearing down in deeper snow makes it a lot easier to ride
- You will fall.... a lot
- It's a good workout and it is honestly SO much fun
