Fifteen Most Valuable Currencies in Africa

This video brings you an animated plot of the top 15 African currencies since 2008. The figures are the exchange rate against the U.S dollar. The lower the figure, the higher the value, indicating that you need smaller amounts of that currency to buy a dollar. Beware that adjustments such as redenominations or debasements can alter this trend and make some currencies look more or less valuable overnight.
