What is Structured Note memory?

Memory is an optional feature of a Structured Note. When memory is added to a contingent Income Note, in the event a coupon payment is missed, the memory feature may allow the Note to catch-up or recover the missed coupon payment(s) at future coupon observation dates if the Note’s underlier finishes above the coupon barrier level.
