ଆଜି ରୁକ୍ମଣି ହରଣ ଏକାଦଶୀ ତିଥିରେ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିବାହ ଉତ୍ସବ। ମା’ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ଠାକୁରାଣୀ ସାଜିବେ ଦେବୀ ରୁକ୍ମିଣୀ। ଶ୍ରୀମଦନମୋହନ ସାଜିବେ ଶ୍ରୀକୃଷ୍ଣ। ଆଉ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଭାବେ ପାଳିତ ହେଉଛି ବିବାହ ଉତ୍ସବ।

A grand spiritual celebration is underway at Puri Srimandir on the occasion of Rukmini Haran Ekadashi, marking the divine wedding festival of Lord Jagannath.

On this sacred day, Lord Madan Mohan, representing Lord Krishna, performs the symbolic marriage with Goddess Lakshmi, who is worshipped as Devi Rukmini. The temple is beautifully decorated, and traditional devotional music including telengi baaja, conch shells, and jodi mahuri fills the atmosphere.

Following the Rajendra Abhishek rituals, the wedding ceremonies begin with elaborate temple traditions, including the arrival of deities, sacred offerings, and ceremonial blessings. The rituals are performed under the supervision of the Shree Jagannath Temple administration with deep devotion and grandeur.

Due to the special rituals, public darshan remains restricted for several hours. The celebrations will continue with Champak Dwadashi and Guaali Yatra in the coming days.
