Paradise Cove Luau, Hawaii 2018

If you're looking for a true Hawaiian experience, Paradise Cove Luau is the best place to accomplish that dream.

For those of you looking to book with Paradise cove. Here's some info we would like to share. Its highly recommended to go on a weekend because weekday's traffic can make the shuttle ride longer. (It took us about an hour on a Sunday). Check the weather so you'll know what to wear. We went in early December which surprisingly it was breezy, warm, humid and slight rain drops here and there. It didn't bother us at all.

When booking your tickets, check to see if they have pick up transportation at your hotel. (additional price). They didn't have transportation at our hotel so we went to the nearest hotel that offer this service. (4 min walk) It started out with an entertaining shuttle ride with one of the staff members. When you get there, you are greeted with leis and a mai tai drink (with or without alcohol). Depending on which package you booked, you are given a cove card which includes a specific $$ for you to use on souvenirs or more drinks. We booked the Orchid Luau which came with a $16 per adult cove card for us to use. The alcohol drinks there ranges from $8-12.

Games and activities are spread out through out the island for you to just walk around and take part of. (leis/ flower making, Pareo demonstrations, take photos with parrots, Hawaiian arts and crafts, shower of flower, Hukilau on the beach, Imu ceremony and etc)You have about 2 hours for this. Please note, the photos when you first walk in and the ones you take with the parrots are not free. (you don't have to purchase it, but know that you are not allowed to take your own photos or videos with the birds.

The Luau feast is from 7-8pm. Dinner is a buffet style with a variety of Hawaiin food. From macaroni salad, pasta to pulled pork, baked chicken, salmon. Desserts were also a hit as well. While you're enjoying your dinner, you get to enjoy Hawaiian dances, fire shows and some Hukilau hula entertainment.

Departures is around 8:45-9:00pm. We were in Bus #1 and our driver surprised us with a drive to downtown to look at the Christmas lights. (our next video). We ended the shuttle ride with a shout out to the birthday crews (me including) and a live dedication to those celebrating LOVE.
