Sakari Oramo about Langgaard's Symphony No. 1, Cliffside Pastorals

Conductor Sakari Oramo speaks about Rued Langgaard's Symphony No. 1, Cliffside Pastorals, which he has recorded with the Berlin Philharmonic.

Langgaard completed the symphony when he was only 17 years old and had it premiered by the Berlin Philharmonic in 1913. Learn more about how the symphony is the work of an idealistic young man and what Oramo would ask Langgaard over a beer if he had the chance!
