Every Word Matters with Wendy Van Camp

Poet Laureate Emerita Wendy Van Camp explores the use of poetry writing concepts to enhance science fiction novel writing. She emphasizes the importance of language in effective storytelling and her own personal journey as a poet, plus six poetry concepts that can help writers infuse their prose with deeper meaning, voice, tone, rhythm and meter, sound devices and word choice. Wendy Van Camp, Anaheim's Poet Laureate Emerita, is a dynamic voice in speculative poetry, blending cutting-edge technology, astronomy, and daydreams. Her talent has earned her nominations for the Elgin Award, Pushcart Prize, and Dwarf Stars Award. Wendy's poems, stories, and articles grace journals worldwide such as "Star*Line," "Scifaikuest," and “San Diego Poetry Annual.” She regularly contributes to “Indy Author Magazine.” An active podcaster, you can see Wendy as a panelist on the "Con-Tinual" stable of podcasts "Fandom" and "The Panel Room".
