Finding difficulty in getting guest stars to travel to Sioux City for her show, Julie wants to build her own stock company consisting of her producer, the station's children's show host, and a newsman. They do a hillbilly skit satirizing Julie and her husband getting ready to go out for an evening. Offended at his depiction in the skit, Sam argues with Julie.
Sam eventually says he is sorry, and the two make up.
