Hop on to know about PM Modi's new rooftop solar subsidy programme. PM Narendra Modi launched the National Portal for Rooftop Solar and unified solar scheme on July 30, 2022.

Under the scheme, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) will transfer the subsidy amount directly to your bank account once the local discom has inspected your solar system.
