Red and Green Machines cutting raking baling hay | Vintage Farm Equipment

It's time to cut the first cutting of hay! This four acre field of hay was seeded last year so this is the first full season for the field. In this video we cut the hay with a mower conditioner, rake the hay after it dries for a few days, and then a neighbor bales the hay into big round bales. We use an International Harvester 1206, Macdon 4000 mower, an old IH hay rake, and a John Deere 4440 with a 568 baler. We had perfect drying weather for this first cut!
