Freecoaster Hub VS Trials! - Vlog 77

Hey friends! I recently got sent a prototype hub from Industry Nine, their first try at a freecoaster!

It's been developed with their slopestyle riders but they wanted a torque test and Trials is famous for being harsh on hubs.

This is my first time owning a freecoaster and my second ride on this one (first time being at Unit 23 last week). It feels very strange being totally silent, faster rolling and with fewer engagement points. I tried my best to ride some actual Trials stuff but it's very hard!! I do think that once you get used to it it will be possible to do some amazing riding though!

Strength wise it coped well! It had a couple of very light skips (not too uncommon for any new hub) but it's got full steel internals and never skipped enough to worry me.
