Thirsty Koala Joins Runners For a Drink

A curious koala decided to get in on the action of the Cleland 50 race in South Australia, asking a runner for a sip of water from her bottle.

In this cute video, livestreamed during the race, a contestant feeds water to the thirsty marsupial.

The grateful koala accepts a pat from the contestant, before deciding it was time to head back to the safety of a gumtree.
