Welcome to Rio de Janerio, this was our first time in Brazil. In this video we will show you our Top Things to see and do in Rio de Janerio!

First things first, people ask is Rio safe? Well I have to say that as long as you follow all the usual common sense tips you would in any other big city like London, Cape Town, New York then yes it is perfectly safe! We never saw an trouble or was involved in any scams. The one tip i recommend is to not walk about at night and just jump in an Uber, they are VERY cheap and convenient! Ok let's jump in on the fun stuff!

Rio de Janeiro International Airport (RIOgaleão - Tom Jobim International Airport) is about 15km outside the city, best transfer is with a Radio Taxi that you can prepay and book in the baggage halls before you leave the airport. This is a set price and will ensure you can just go straight to your taxi outside and avoid the large crowd of unauthorised taxi's trying to get your business as you come through arrivals.
