In Banishanta, Dacope, Khulna, a remarkable initiative is taking shape. BEDS is constructing a unique Mangrove Watch Tower, inspired by the beauty of nature and built using Golpata—one of the most iconic natural resources of the mangrove ecosystem.

But this project is about much more than a watch tower.

Alongside it, a Mangrove Museum and Mangrove Research Center are being developed to create a destination where researchers, students, travelers, and nature enthusiasts can learn, explore, and deepen their connection with the Sundarbans.

Once completed, this visionary project has the potential to become a major hub for eco-tourism, environmental education, conservation, and mangrove-based research in Bangladesh.
