One of the largest of our freshwater Mussel, typically 75mm but up to 120mm in length. It has a thin shell and is generally slim when closed.

We Can eat this Mussel but we should add some spices to make it more delicious. Since they are in the freshwater, they have no taste naturally.

Fine them in Small streams to large rivers, lakes, ponds and canals.
