In the latest Nintendo Direct (6/9/2026), Nintendo released a limited-time challenge event similar to the Nintendo World Championships NES Edition, but for games in the Donkey Kong franchise, including the Donkey Kong arcade NES ports, the Donkey Kong Country SNES trilogy, the Game Boy games including the Donkey Kong Land series and Donkey Kong '94, and even the latest entry on Nintendo Switch 2, Donkey Kong Bananza!

For my next DK Challenge, I'm entering uncharted territory with the Game Boy Donkey Kong games which I have never played before!
