Southern Oregon SOTA Campout | July 2022 - Ashland, OR | Summits on the Air

Wowzah, this was a fun weekend. 25 ops activated a total of 30 summits in southern Oregon and northern California. We took over the campground at Hyatt Lake and had a blast meeting the wonderful people that make Summits on the Air so fun. It was a joy to put faces & names to operators I've only recognized by their callsign and voice (or sending!). See ya'll next year!

We had a total of 1385 QSOs logged and 651 S2S contacts over the weekend!

I personally got 56 SOTA points with 56 S2S contacts! I operated 2m fm, 14 cw, 7 cw, 10 cw and 7ssb. Most of the action was on 2m. With so many ops it was easy to get the contacts and then cruise over to the next summit.
