Nairobi governor Mike Sonko will tomorrow know whether his impeachment trial before the senate will proceed before an 11 member select committee or a full sitting of the house. Sonko who was shown the door last week by 88 out of 122 MCAs is once again fighting to stay in office. Tonight our political affairs reporter Murimi Mwangi examines the options available for the senate ahead of the critical ruling and explains why a political showdown looms in the city whichever way the senate vote goes.
